Nike recently released a new advertisement piece featuring their publicly embattled celebrity endorser, Tiger Woods. Within the commercial is heard Earl Woods, Tiger’s father, doling out some straight talk to his son. The script itself was taken from a previous interview that long pre-dated Tiger’s recent extra-marital scandal. Clearly, in this ad, the script takes on an entirely new contextual meaning. Just watch and listen below.
What do you think – brilliant marketing on the part of Nike, or a bewilderingly shameless ploy to draw attention and capitalize off a recent celebrity flub? Sound off folks!
